This solution enables remote meter reading, remote control, and online recharging. The water meter automatically reports user water usage data daily, avoiding errors in manual meter reading. It implements a “pay first, use later” model with automatic arrears notifications, valve closure for unpaid bills, and automatic valve opening after payment. It supports online recharging, with SMS and WeChat reminders for low balances and valve closure, and mobile bill inquiries to protect users' right to know about their water usage.
